Steve Madden's Leni is a ballet flat with a clean, low-cut line on a slim 0.25 inch heel. A textile lining keeps it soft against the foot, and it pairs as easily with denim as with tailoring. It comes in chestnut and black. Its understated shape makes it the kind of flat you reach for again and again, from busy workdays to slow weekend mornings. Wear the chestnut with denim and a striped knit, or the black with cropped trousers and sheer tights.

Returns and exchanges within 14 days of receipt for unworn shoes in their original box. One free exchange per order. Returns by mail carry a $12 return-shipping fee, deducted from your refund and waived when you choose an exchange or store credit; returns at any of our 10 stores are free.

How to measure your foot
- Stand on a sheet of paper, heel against a wall, wearing the socks you'd wear with the shoe.
- Mark the tip of your longest toe and measure from the wall to the mark (do both feet; use the longer one).
- Find that length below. Between two sizes? Go up half a size — most of our styles run true to size, and any size note on the product page overrides the chart.
