Established in Melbourne, Australia, the women’s footwear company started as Django & Juliette. Kerrie Munro founded the brand and was always asked how to pronounce the first name, Django. Each time her answer was the same in explaining the D is silent. This propelled the rebranding of her collection in 2013 by naming the company Silent D. Makes perfect sense!
