Gianluca Pisati's Nina is a penny loafer made in Italy on a deep lug sole, with a 1.5 inch heel and a 1 inch platform for grip and lift. It comes in black and mato suede and in glossy black and navy patent. The substantial sole gives a timeless design a confident, modern stance that looks as right with tailoring as with denim. Wear the suede with flannel trousers and a turtleneck, or the patent with a pleated skirt and opaque tights.

- Stand on a sheet of paper, heel against a wall, wearing the socks you'd wear with the shoe.
- Mark the tip of your longest toe and measure from the wall to the mark (do both feet; use the longer one).
